LineSkip launches free Curbside ordering software for Restaurants!
Vancouver, WA, August 25, 2020 – To help combat Covid-19, LineSkip is launching a series of updates to our entire portfolio of products to improve social distancing, processes, and efficiency of restaurant operations. Part of that effort is the new Curbside takeout functions added to the LineSkip POS, online ordering, and custom mobile apps.
Part of the freeLineSkip online ordering platform, new curbside software tools allow customers to place orders for curbside pickup either over the phone on the POS, or online. The merchant can display specific curbside instructions, such as where to park, that is displayed when the order is placed and in confirmation email or page. When the customer arrives at the restaurant, they can click a link given to them on their confirmation page and/or email which will automatically notify the restaurant staff at the POS or order queue; who has arrived, their order info and are given a description of the customer’s car. To make things even more efficient, the system will automatically store customer’s car descriptions for future orders.
To enable Curbside on your account, login to your LineSkip account on www.LineSkipApp.com. Click on the Settings tab and then Online Ordering. Under “Pick Up”, select “yes” for “Do you offer curbside pickup at your location” Lastly, be sure you are using the latest version of the LineSkip POS on the Appstore.
